Firstly let's introduce ourselves.
Hi, I'm Jack. I've been in the pet trade for 14 years and have a wide range of knowledge when it comes to natural treats, toys and the health of dogs. I'm the partner of Olivia, Dad to Oliver and George and the Doggy Dad to Daisy. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time on the banks of the beautiful local rivers and canals fishing and love being outdoors with the kids and dogs in the beautiful countryside where we live.
Hi, I’m Olivia. I’ve been in the pet trade for 4 years when I met Jack. I have learnt a lot since then about natural treats, the amazing KONG toys (which I may have a slight obsession with) and the health of dogs. I'm the partner of Jack, Mum to George, step Mum to Oliver and Doggy Mum to Daisy. I love to feed the ducks with George in my spare time and love to go walking in the woods as a family.
As we said before, we are a family run business and have a lot more people working behind the scenes to give you and your furry friends the best quality products and advice.
We also have a small boss called Poppy who loves to keep us on our toes and tells us when we are doing something wrong.
Let’s introduce our treats and toy testers, our family dogs. We have 3 beautiful dogs, Bailey who is a 5 year old black Labrador and Daisy & Mabel who are 2 month old Sprockers from the same litter! We will also always have our 12 year old chocolate Labrador with us who is now in doggy heaven!
We can't wait to share our lives with you all and our dogs have the very hard job of trying all the treats and toys, which I'm sure you will agree must be very tiring for them.
Here at Proper Natural we only supply the best quality dog treats and will not accept any treats that we don't think meet our high quality standards, so you can always rest assured that your furry friends are only getting the best.

Hebden Bridge
Ginny has been with us just over 1 year now and manages our Hebden Bridge shop. Ginny has a long history of working with dogs throughout her career including a dog sitter/walker, worked in an animal rescue looking after the dogs and also a photographer which consisted mainly of dogs! Ginny lives in the lovely Yorkshire town of Hebden Bridge and absolutely loves being visited at the shop by all the locals and tourists with their dogs! Ginny has a keen eye for detail and loves creating new window displays!
Halifax
Anita has been with us for 2 years now and manages our Halifax Borough Market shop. Anita is extremely hard working and has an incredible rapport with our customers who not only love our products but love coming down to have a chit chat. She never fails to make everyone smile and always keeps us in check. Favourite dog you may ask? Well Anita loves all four legged friends so couldn't decide on a favourite.
Barnsley
Our Barnsley shop is located within the brand new Glassworks complex and is managed by Jack.
